Life & Legacy
Kristeen M. Willardson Green (91) passed away 7 November 2026 from causes incident to age surrounded by loving family. Kristeen was the daughter of Lyman Young Willardson and Alice Sessions and was born in Ephraim, Utah on 22 March 1935 in the same house where her grandfather, father, and brothers were born. She adored her two older brothers and one younger brother: Lyman Sessions Willardson (deceased), Harvey Christian Willardson (deceased), Thomas Sheldon Willardson (Kay Keeler). She was sealed to Alvin Godwin Green (deceased 4 December 2016) on 5 June 1953 in the Manti, Utah Temple. Children are John Alvin Green II (Brenda Crane), Debra Ann Green Ballard (John Ballard), David Lyman Green (Laurie Soelberg), and Lori Elizabeth Green along with 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Kristeen graduated from Ephraim High School and after marriage began her journey into motherhood–the joy of her life. She supported her husband “Dean Green” at Snow College and served as a board member and president of the Campus Women. She served in various Church callings, including as couple missionaries in the Fort Worth, Texas Mission from 1997-1998, and as temple workers in both the Manti and Mount Timpanogos Temples. She was promised that she would always be surrounded by people she loved and people who loved her—no truer words have ever been spoken in a blessing. She was an example to everyone she knew as the most faithful, kind, obedient, and loving person they had ever known. Countless relatives and friends came to her home to find peace and to be seen, heard, accepted, and unconditionally loved. In all her life she never spoke a negative word against anyone or anything. Graveside services will be held on Monday 16 November 2026 at noon at the Orem City Cemetery. In place of flowers please donate to the general missionary fund of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mortuary services provided by Didericksen Memorial.
