Wade Arthur Manning, age 63, of Lehi, Utah, passed away unexpectedly in his home on January 31, 2025.

Born to Jay and Valdess Manning on May 30, 1961, in Lehi, Wade grew up surrounded by the beauty of the Wasatch Front and developed a passion for sports that would last his lifetime. A proud graduate of Lehi High School, he played on the football, basketball, and track teams, showcasing his competitive spirit and love for teamwork.

Wade furthered his education at Southern Utah University before returning home to earn a degree in electronics from Provo Technical School. On June 7, 1986, he married Lori Warren, and they spent 17 wonderful years together at Dugway, where Wade worked as a civilian employee at Dugway Proving Grounds. He cherished his job and the camaraderie he shared with his colleagues.

An exceptional golfer, Wade found immense joy playing in the men's league, forging lifelong friendships on the green. He was also an avid hunter, eagerly preparing each year for elk camp in Salina with his son, father, and close friends and family. Wade loved fishing for catfish at Utah Lake, creating treasured memories with his son and grandchildren. Known for his green thumb, he took pride in cultivating a vibrant yard and garden filled with an array of vegetables.

Wade is survived by his beloved son, Jeramy Manning (Jami), and cherished grandchildren, Jaxson, Mazi, and Zander. He is also survived by his father, Keith Roberts; sister, Vicki Strickland (Lee); and loving nieces and nephews, Jacee, Lindsey, Chase, and Hunter.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jay Manning; mother, Valdess Roberts; brother, Bart J Manning; grandparents, Arthur and Odessa Sabey and Harry and Georgia Manning.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elk's Lodge in Tooele on April 11, 2025, at 5:00 PM. We invite all who knew and loved Wade to join us in honoring his remarkable life and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
