Thiel Louise Morley Peck was born January 25, 1948, at Roswell, N.M., the daughter of Jefferson and Minnie Morley. Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, 6th of August, 2024. She was 76 years old, taken by dementia. She is survived by her husband and her brothers and sisters. Her bothers Vaughn Morley, Adrian Morley and sisters Lorna Morley (Quick) and Camille Morley (Dulac). John and Thiel been married for 48 and half years. Were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple after year of being married by their Branch President.
Thiel learned how to play the violin from her father who was known almost as a professional. She loved to played and played in a band. They would play at nursey homes and assistant living places. She loved music and would teach children at times.
Thiel graduated from Eastern New Mexico University, Roswell Campus, New Mexico. She completed the studies for DENTAL ASSISTANT. The Certifying Board of the American Dental Assistants Association to Thiel L Morley, she having fulfilled the Educational Requirements had successfully completed the Certification Examination. Thiel was Recognized as a Certified Dental Assistant.
She was a Dental Assistant for some years and loved working on people teeth. She knew about teeth. She loved what she did and love the people.
She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while living in Florida. She has always been a faithful active member. She served missions with her husband at Family and Church Mission Historical Reconstitution Data Analysis Zone. Thiel love doing her Family History and special love for our Temples.
Thiel also served in Girl Scouts as a leader in Tooele County. She has served a number of positions in her Church as Den Mother, Primary teacher which she loved and others. She was Property Manager during Grist Mill Pageants and Other plays, such as The Music Man in the orchestra and props manager. She even had herself and our dog Teddy in the Grist Mill Pageant.
Thiel had a special love for her parents, brothers and sisters and for her nieces and nephews and other children. Being such a loving and caring Aunt, she would remember everyone’s birthday. She would send out birthday cards and call them every year. She would keep up with her great-nieces and great-nephews and their children. Plus, back to school notes. She kept photos and addresses of everyone in the family. She enjoyed sharing her love of music and art by painting her parents and scene. She taught us a lot about family values and historical parts of our past.
Thiel helped organized family reunions and ordered hats and shirts. She would put together skits and plays for the children. She showed her love for every one.She kept all of us connected as we lived in different states.
Thiel planted Morning Glories on side of the house for her Mom. The flowers grew along side of the dark house. She even planted strips of grass 2 feet by 10 feet in front of the house and cut the grass with scissors. She even cut brush sticks about 1 inch thick and wired them together with wired to make an fence and archway and flowers grew on the archway and fence.
Funeral services will be as follows: Public viewing be on Thursday the 15th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tooele Stake Center, 253 South 200 East, Tooele, Utah, from 6pm to 8pm. On Friday, the 16th, a viewing will be at the same Church meetinghouse from 10:00 am to 10:45 am in Primary room then the Church service will be held in the Chapel from 11:00 am to noon. Then proceed to the Tooele City Cemetery.

I, John, would like to thank the caregivers and staff at Beehive Homes Assisted Living Center for their love and kindness they showed to me and to Thiel before and after her passing.
