Dad coached many youth teams where he passed on his love and knowledge of sports. He was actively employed throughout his life at various companies in Tooele County where he made many lifelong friends. Dad always had a passion for his job at Anaconda where he would have stayed had the mine not closed. Dad’s greatest accomplishment will always be his wife and family. He enjoyed every minute he spent at their sporting events, rodeos, recitals, school or church programs. Richard was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he fulfilled many callings. His favorite callings were serving in the branch presidency at the local jail and more recently as a primary teacher in the Lakeview Ward.
