Philip LaRoque

Philip (Snickey) Daniel LaRoque, 78, passed away at his home on Tuesday May 5th, 2015 surrounded by loved ones, after a long battle with MDS. He was born on January 21st,1937 in Poplar, Montana to Marcell (George) LaRoque and Anna LaRoque. Youngest of 3. He enlisted in the US Air Force at the age of 17, and served from 1954 to 1957. He married Patricia Ann Pardiac on August 14th,1959 in Detroit, Michigan. They have 6 children, Debra Benton of Tooele; Rose Keifer (Kevin) of Divide, CO; Sharon Keele (Kelly) of Grantsville, UT; Colleen Rippy of Renton, WA; Daniel LaRoque (Tammy) of Stansbury Park, UT; and Kiley LaRoque of Vernal, UT. He has 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Phil moved his family here in 1973, where he has spent most of his life. He was employed at Tooele Army Depot until he retired in 1993. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and camping with his family. Graveside services with military honors will be at Tooele Cemetary on Friday May 29th,2015 at 11:00 am.
