Peggy Ann Jackson Koon passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and faith. She was preceded in death by her eternal companion, Roger Koon.
Peggy was born on March 14, 1954, in Nephi, Utah, to Eugene and Adele Jackson. She was a beloved sister to Sue, Carol, and Mark, and a devoted mother to her five children: Ryan (Danielle), Troy (Emily), Stacy (Greg), Lindsey (Trent), and Kyle (Andrea). Peggy cherished her role as a grandmother to her 15 grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Peggy’s deep faith was a cornerstone of her life. She loved serving in many callings at church and found peace and purpose in her frequent visits to the temple. Her example of service, devotion, and unwavering faith inspired all who knew her.
She also found great fulfillment in her work at Middle Canyon Elementary School, where her kindness, patience, and dedication left a lasting impact on her students and colleagues.
Above all, Peggy will be remembered for her boundless love, selfless spirit, and her ability to bring light and strength to her family and community. Her warmth and compassion will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Peggy’s family invites everyone who knew and cherished her to join them in celebrating her life. The viewing will be held on Friday, February 7th, from 6 to 8 p.m., and again on Saturday, February 8th, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The funeral services will commence promptly at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 8th. All services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (751 N. 520 E, Tooele, Utah).
