Oscar Nelson

Oscar JD Nelson,88 of Mapleton, Utah, previously of Cave Creek, Arizona, passed away on October 28th, 2012. JD was born in Thatcher, Arizona on May 6, 1924 to Delos Barney Nelson and Flora May Chlarson. He was married to Aloha Triphahn who died in 1985 and later to Norma Kalae Knight. 

 JD served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Upon returning home he worked in various employments, finally becoming one of the best HVAC technicians in the Phoenix area. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. JD is survived by his wife, Kalae, 5 children, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be held at Thatcher 7th Ward (4050 W. 2nd St.) Thatcher, Arizona, 85552 on Thursday, November 1st at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the LDS Missionary Fund.
