Mike passed away at his home with his loving wife by his side. Born to Daniel McCarthy and Mary Lou Collins in Duluth, Minnesota Mike will always be remembered for his genuine smile which expressed his great love for life. His wife, family, and friends were of great joy to him. As well as his extreme love for southern rock and the Lynyrd Skynyrd Nation. With loud laughter and detailed stories, the stage was his. He left a deep impression with all who shared his path. His inner lightshined bright even in the darkest of times with his famous quote, "keep the faith." His memory lives on by his wife Debra, son Jason, daughter Jennifer (Pete), mother Mary Lou. Grandchildren Audrey, Hailey, and Ayden. Siblings Pamela, Daniel, Tim, and Teresa. Niece Amanda, Nephew, Brian. Preceded in death by his father Daniel, and his brother Patrick. You will be greatly missed, "FLY ON PROUD BIRD, YOU'RE FREE AT LAST."
