Our precious baby Margot passed away peacefully in her parents’ arms on Monday, February 16, 2015, after being born with a genetic disorder that resulted in heart defects. In only one short week of life, Margot touched and inspired many people, and her impact on the world will be a lasting one. She was a sweet baby, and we’re happy to know that she no longer suffers from the pain and discomfort she had while living inside her mortal body. We love her dearly and look forward to the day when we can see her again. She is survived by her parents, Kevin and Natalie Mouritsen, her grandparents, two great-grandmothers, and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins who adore her. We want to express heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses and doctors that took care of Margot at Primary Children’s Medical Center, and for the care she received at Lakeview Hospital and from Intermountain Homecare and Hospice. A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 11:00 am with a funeral to follow at 1:00 pm. Both will be held at the LDS Stake Center located at 954 West 1100 North, North Salt Lake, UT, 84054. Thanks to Didericksen Memorial for handling the funeral arrangements, and to the many family and friends that have supported us during this difficult time.
