Lyle Erickson

Lyle Van Erickson passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010 at his home in Rush Valley, surrounded by his family.

He was the youngest of five siblings. Lyle married Jill Baron on Sept. 16, 1977 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on Feb. 14, 1986. They were blessed with 12 wonderful children seven sons and five daughters: Jonathan (Holly), Tina (Doug), Lance (Stephanie), Layne (Melanie), Luke, Tonya (Steve), Louis, Tosha, Lonny, Torie, Taya, and Lenny. He was a loving grandfather of five grandchildren and four step grandchildren.
He served in the Pennsylvania mission. He was an entrepreneur and a jack of all trades. Lyle enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and traveling with his family. He loved farm life and nature. He was so proud of all his children and loved to tell people about them. We love you Lyle, Dad, and Grandpa. You will be truly missed. The family wishes to thank all of his loving caregivers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 7 at the Rush Valley LDS chapel 985 N. Church St. at 11 a.m. Friends and family may call prior from 10-10:45 at the church.
