Loya Beck

Loya Charmaine Shields Beck, 82, of Tooele, Utah passed away on Oct. 31, 2012 in Tooele Utah. Loya was the oldest Daughter of Vernon W. and Alice L. Shields. Loya graduated from Tooele High School in 1948 and then married Ray P. Beck in the Salt Lake Temple on Jan. 25, 1951. Loya gave many years of service in her various Church callings and also served as the President of the Utah Daughters of Pioneers. Loya loved poetry, art, and music and was a beautiful pianist and artist. She loved her family dearly and they were the center of her life. Loya is survived by her sisters Marlene Clawson, Verna Cowdell, and her four children: V. Roger Beck, Lawrence R. Beck, Donna M Allison, and Joseph A. Beck. As well as her many grand and great-grand children. A Viewing will be held from 10 am to 12 pm and Funeral Services will follow starting at 12:30 pm on Wed. Nov. 7, 2012 at the Tooele South Stake Center. (1025 Southwest Drive, Tooele, Utah.)
