Lewis Wrathall

1924-2012, Lewis Evan Wrathall passed away peacefully in his sleep the evening of Thursday October 4th, 2012 in a Salt Lake Hospital. Lewis was born March 4th, 1924 in Grantsville, UT. Raised by his parents: James Leslie Wrathall and Mary Estelle Barrus Wrathall. Lewis grew up with Sisters: Mrs. Pennina Wooley, Barbara Applewhite, Mrs. Wesley (Alice) Peterson and brother: Theodore Roosevelt Wrathall. Lewis was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is well known for his generosity, putting others before himself. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and earned a living as a General Contractor. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife, Laprelle (Price) Wrathall, mother, father and four siblings. Survived by his son Courtney Lewis Wrathall and two granddaughters: Chelsea Lou Wrathall and Whitney Lee Whatcott (Husband: Jordan Ames Whatcott). Special thanks to the wonderful and caring staff of Highland Care Center. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 10th, 2012, 1:00 PM at the Grantsville City Cemetery.
