Lafonda Thompson Carroll

Lafonda Carrol passed peacefully from this earth on the 10th of January, 2019.

Lafonda was born on the 8th of September 1930 to George Albert Clark and Mabel Chatwin. Born in Vernal Utah and reared in Altonah Utah.

She married Delbert LeRoy Thompson of Heber City in 1948. Later divorced and married John Carroll in Aug 1960.

Preceded in death by her husband and 3 children: Baby Thompson, Valerie Thompson and Trudy Thompson Hardison (LaVan), parents and 6 brothers and sisters.

Survived by: Sons Delbert LeRoy Thompson Jr. (Diane), Hank Thompson (Sheri), William Albert Thompson (Laura), George John Carroll (Staci), Frank L Carroll (Roberta) and Daryle J Carroll (Kellie), 24 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters: Georgetta Ivey (Delmore), Trent Clark (Lois), Rava Giles (Gary), Ted Clark (Blanch), Judy Gardner (Benny) and Joene Olsen (Stan).

Member of The Church Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 18th at Didericksen Memorial Funeral Home, 87 W. Main St. Grantsville from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon at The Church Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 410 Shelley Lane in Grantsville.
