Jeanette Mathews Francom 1941-2013 Jeanette Mathews Francom, 71, died May 26, 2013, at home, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Jeanette was born on November 27, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to James Willard and Ethel Roper Mathews. She married her sweetheart James Niel Francom on April 22, 1961 in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple. She graduated from Juab High School in 1960. She continued her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, graduating in 1961. She is an amazing example of love and service to all who knew her. Jeanette’s greatest love is her husband, children and their families. She loved to have her family around and delighted in their talents and accomplishments. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and shared her testimony of the gospel through her words and deeds. She served in many callings throughout her life, most recently as the primary pianist. She was very talented musically, in both voice and on the piano. She could listen, without judgment and her shoulder and her hugs were available to any who needed them. She retired from Rocky Mountain Care Center in Tooele, in October 2006 after many years serving in the Alzheimer ward. She is survived by her husband, Niel, and her children: Roger (Dana) Francom, Grantsville; Denise (Alan) Baldy, Grantsville; Christine (Tom) McMahon, Grantsville; David (Gina) Francom, Grantsville; Melissa (Laef) Wallin, Grace, Idaho; Janice (Rick) Helm, Grantsville; Michelle (Ken) Holm, Riverton, Utah; Darin (Felicia) Francom, Riverton, Utah; 29 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; brothers: James (Diane) Mathews, Bountiful, Utah; Russell (Donna) Mathews, Santa Maria, California; sisters: Donna (Dick) Woods, Medford, Oregon; Lola (Mark) Koppe, Elko, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, David Dunn. We know she celebrated a great reunion with all her loved ones who have passed before her, including many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a viewing Thursday May 30, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service at the Grantsville West Stake Center – 115 E Cherry.
