Howard "Mose" Gibson

Mose died at his home in Grantsville on Sept. 1, 2010 with his loving daughter and grandkids by his side.

He was born May 13, 1932 to Howard A (Hoot) and Pansy Gibson. He married Bonnie Barker on March 17, 1954; later deceased. He then spent 17 years with Mary Lu Sanders, also deceased.

Mose enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, yard work, anything to do with the outdoors. Mose loved his animals dearly.

He is survived by children Brenda Petroff, Kirk Gibson (Christy), Deanna Drake, JoDawna Sanders, Paulette Phillips (Casey); seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two more on the way; sisters Yvonne Olson, Leila Callister, Linda Sharp (Roland); brother John “Cork” Gibson (Alda); best friend Bill Henderson; and his loving dog Ranger. His preceded in death by his loving wife Bonnie, loving partner Mary Lu, parents Hoot and Pansy Gibson and son-in-law Jack Petroff.

Thanks for being such a great Dad, Grandpa, and friend. You will be greatly missed and loved always. We love you!

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 4 at noon at the Grantsville Community Center, 236 W Plum Street. A viewing prior to the services will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. Services entrusted with Didericksen Memorial funeral home 435-277-0050.
