On October 22, 2024, Glenna Marie Cloward unexpectedly passed away at home in Grantsville, Utah, at the age of 76.
She was born on May 24, 1948, in Provo, Utah, and was the oldest child of Betty Haynes and Glen Harding. Glenna graduated from Orem High School in 1966. She then married her sweetheart, Dale Cloward, on August 4, 1966, and they were sealed in the Manti Temple on March 31, 1970. Together, they had seven children: Della, Jamie, Tony (Nicole), Sherrie (David), Tracey (Wade), Connie, and Shane (Ashley). They have twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Glenna dearly loved all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were the joy of her life. She always remembered everyone’s birthdays, and we will treasure the personalized name-embroidered pillowcases she made for each grandchild and great-grandchild.
She had a love for Richard Paul Evans’ books and anxiously awaited each new release. She also enjoyed following the Grantsville Cowboys sports teams over the years.
Glenna was preceded in death by her mother and father, her stepfather, Ray Richins, four siblings: Larry Harding, Raylene Kirkman, Burt Richins, and Jennie Richins, as well as her great-granddaughter, Adeline.
Services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 12 noon, with a viewing beforehand from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, 81 Church Street, in Grantsville. The interment will be at the Grantsville City Cemetery.
