Ethan Patrick Hyde, born March 17, 2000 to Jereme D Hyde and Jennifer Bratt Mecham, left us unexpectedly to rejoin his Father in Heaven on January 11, 2016. In Ethan's short time he touched many lives - family, friends and neighbors alike fondly remember his mischievous laugh, funny expressions, and sense of humor. Ethan loved to play basketball and soccer where his skill, effort and enthusiasm more than made up for any size disadvantage. He also enjoyed building with Lego, playing XBox, and eating anything with Sriracha sauce on it. He especially loved camping, fishing and hunting, and was very proud of his first successful deer hunt with his Dad in October. Ethan is dearly loved and is survived by his parents, stepfather Eric C Mecham, sisters Carlee and Melissa, brothers JD, Ryan and Shane, grandparents David & Connie Hyde, Ed & Stephanie Naglack, Bratts, Mechams and Hoopes, great grandmothers Shepherd & Rudy, many aunts & uncles, and 28 1st cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 18th at the LDS Chapel located at 417 Benson Rd, Stansbury Park, Utah. A visitation will be held at 10:15 prior to services. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Santaquin City Cemetery. Services entrusted with Didericksen Memorial, 435-277-0050.
