Elizardo Vigil

Our beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Sept. 16, 2015. Born to Eduardo and Onofre Vigil on June 19, 1919 in Las Trampas, New Mexico. Married Sally Romero on Nov. 10th, 1945. Together they had 5 children, Rosie ( Larry ) Herrera, Lawrence Vigil, Cecilia ( Joe ) Salazar, both deceased, Marcella Aragon, Gerald ( Geneil ) Vigil. Brothers, Enriques, Ernesto, Clarence, Benardino, all deceased. Two sisters, Ofelia Aguilar and Lugardita Griego. He has 9 grandsons, Marty Aragon, Danny Aragon, Jesse Aragon, Paul Vigil, Shane Vigil, Mario Salazar, Chris Salazar. And 1 granddaughter, Stephanie Aragon. Served in the U.S. Army in WWII from 1942 to 1945, in the European theater. Retired from Tooele Army Depot after 30 Years of service. Funeral services were held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at St. Marguerite's Catholic Church. Burial at Tooele City Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Canyon Home Care and Hospice for their tender care and Father Sam Dinsdale for the services.
