Elaine Padilla Hiatt passed away on April 1, 2020. Elaine was born January 16, 1954 in Salt Lake City to Frank and Mary Padilla. She was raised in Grantsville and lived there most of her life. She married Darren Kramer and moved to Lodi, California where they had one son named Darren. After moving back to Grantsville she married Truman (Tom) Hiatt. Elaine worked side by side with her sister, Marilyn Danielson at Elastemer’s Product for 27 years. The last years of her life she loved hanging out with her friend, Paula Hunt, and her granddaughters. She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Frank and Mary Padilla; Sister, Frances DePriest; Brother, Henry Padilla; and her best friend Mary Millward, “Snoopy” (Elaine was nicknamed Woodstock). She leaves behind her husband, Tom Hiatt; Son, Darren Kramer; Stepson, Austin Hiatt; 5 grandchildren, Hanna, Leaha, Willow, Danialle, and Austin; 8 siblings, Bernie, Selimo, Carmen, Jimmy, Marilyn, Pam, Tranky, and Bernice.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held at the Grantsville Cemetery on Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. A luncheon in Lake Point will follow at the “Shepherds House,” 1533 Meadow Lark Lane.
