Donna Ella Dickman Ross was born on September 19, 1943 to Darrell H and Ella Donna Kochevar in Alameda California. She has two living sisters Janet (Kerm) Jacoby and Helene (John) Forbis. Together with their parents they lived in several places in California and Utah, finally settling in Murray Utah when she was 11. She attended and graduated from Murray High School and attended LDS Business College. While working at Lennox she met and married a young returned missionary Elbert Earl (Bud) Ross on April 23,1964 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married 58 years before Bud’s passing. They were blessed with two children Shawna Ross Scott and Russell D (Joanna) Ross. After several years living on the avenues, they moved to Draper where they lived for 21 years. In 1998 they moved to Grantsville where she lived out the remainder of her life. She learned to quilt at a young age from her mother and was very proficient at that art. Throughout her younger life she was an avid gardener and kept her family fed from the produce that came from her garden. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and worked at the Salt Lake Temple for several years. In her later years she enjoyed card games and puzzles with friends and family.
She was survived by her two sisters, two children and 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her spouse. We love you mom, you will be greatly missed.
