Debora "Debbie" Bice

February 21, 1961 — November 2, 2024

Grantsville

Debbie was born in Tooele County, Utah, on February 21, 1961, to her mother, Lillian Seright, and father, Robert Seright. She joined the arms of the angels on the morning of November 2, 2024, at the age of 63. She passed away of natural causes after a long battle with lung and breathing issues.

With heavy hearts and sorrowful souls, we say goodbye to our beloved mother, sister, Nana, friend, and so much more to so many people. She was, and will forever be, loved by those who knew her. We all hope she finds comfort and peace. Debbie was one of the most caring people you could ever meet, especially if she truly liked and cared about you. She was always willing to help just about anyone at least once. She went above and beyond for the ones she held dear to her heart. However, she was also the first to tell you when you messed up and offer advice on how to straighten up your act. Debbie’s strict and stubborn ways stemmed from her deep love and care; she only wanted to help those she loved. She was always there to lend a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on, and she gave the absolute best hugs.

Debbie attended Tooele High School and worked until a back injury prevented her from continuing. That didn’t stop her spirit, though. Even in pain, Debbie managed to smile most days, especially when she was with her grandchildren. Knowing her grandchildren were cared for and thriving was one of her greatest concerns and joys.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Monte, her son Sidney Scott Minor Jr, her grandson Sawyer Minor, and her granddaughter Heavenlee Minor.

She is survived by her daughter, Mindy; her son, Michael; her sisters, Bobbie, Terrie, and Pattie; and her grandchildren, Jaxx, Raylee, McKenna, along with many other family members and friends who loved her dearly and will forever miss her.

From her sass to her beautifully caring spirit, Debbie will never be forgotten. She was the kind of person you thought about daily, and that will not change. Her passing has left a deep impact on all of us, and she will be held close in our hearts forever.

Mom, Nana, Debbie: We hope and pray that you are flying with the angels, joined by your loved ones. We hope you are no longer suffering and can finally breathe freely. We pray that you watch over and guide us along our paths until we meet again. Rest in paradise.

Your work here is done, Nana. Forever with love, you will always be in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held in Debbie's honor on February 21, 2025, in Tooele, Utah. Updates will be provided as the time approaches. Please reach out to Mindy with any questions. Thank you all for your patience during this difficult time for the family.
