Curtis Jay Butler, 65, of Grantsville, Utah, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at home after a long battle with various health issues.
Curt was born on Tuesday, May 20, 1958, to Farrell and Martha Butler. After Curt graduated from Grantsville High School, he furthered his education at Utah State University and proudly served in the United States Navy.
Curt married his soulmate Pamela in 1996 and gained his three children, Chad, Bill, and Angela (Scott) and later five grandchildren William, Josee, Cash, Claire,and Amelia who are the loves of his life.
Curt worked various jobs that he excelled at. He was an avid and talented salesman with charismatic and charming personality, for several different companies. He retired as a Marriott Associate in 2022. He loved playing his guitar, camping, traveling and attending Deer Camp every year at “White Rock” as a part of the Butler family tradition.
Curt is preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Farrell Butler and his beloved cousin, Rad. He is survived by his wife, Pamela, his children, and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Wayne (Jeannine), Linda (Steve Christiansen), Bob (Belinda), Jolene (Scott Droubay), John (Marjorie), Christie (Todd Carlson).
Services will be held Monday, February 5, 2024, 12:00 noon at the LDS Chapel located at 428 S. Hale Street, Grantsville, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Graveside services will follow at the Grantsville City Cemetery. Funeral Services provided by Didericksen Memorial.
