Claude Clark Jefferies, 89 of Grantsville, died in the early morning hours of Tues, Feb 22, 2011. Claude was born on Feb 6, 1922 to Mary Rosena Tanner and Frank Clark Jefferies. His parents along with his siblings, Archie, Martin, and Orae Jefferies Palmer, and two nieces Julena Shupe and Marlene Caldwell all procede him in death. He is survived by nine more nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. Claude was a veteran of World War II where he served in the US Navy. He was a carpenter and a machinist and liked to fish and hunt. A graveside service will be held at Grantsville cemetery Saturday, Feb 26th at 11:00 am. There will be no viewing.
