In loving memory of Andrea, wonderful sister, daughter, niece, cousin and friend. Andrea was a mother to all living things-- plants, animals, nature. Andrea was an incredibly kind, gentle, forgiving, and compassionate young woman whose kind and generous spirit was a comfort and encouragement to many. Andrea always sought out and cared for the sad or downcast among us. Her sense of humor and quick wit, brought joy and laughter to all she knew. In an instant she could change a frown to a smile just by sharing one of her signature simple, witty phrases. Andrea cared for her elderly mother in her last days of her life, making meals, going shopping and lending support even though she herself was sick. Andrea always put the well-being of others before her own, never complaining of her own discomfort and pain.
Andrea’s spirit flowed through music and art. She had very special gifts. She had an exceptional ear for music at an early age, and often would sit down at the piano after a trip in the car and play from ear a tune she heard being playing only moments ago. Her musical talents will live on in her spirit. Each time you hear the sound of the wind over leaves, or a hummingbird,or all the intricate music in the silent sounds of nature…you will hear a bit of Andrea playing her music.
Andrea’s life was a living example of the verse: “And be ye kindto one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)
You live on in our hearts, dear Andrea. You are sorely missed. Until we meet again…We love you!!
