Alice Green

Our Beloved Mother Alice L. Green returned to her Father In Heaven on September 7, 2012, in Grantsville, Utah. She was born September 22, 1921 in Princeton, Missouri to Samuel Allen and Chloe Lorlean Davenport. She married Garth S. Green on Dec 7, 1940. They were sealed in the LDS Jordan River Temple in 1988. She was very involved in her ward and neighborhood. She contributed hundreds of hand made quilts and clothing to the Humanitarian center and her items were sent throughout the world. Alice loved to create beautiful things and the gifts she made for her family will always be cherished. Her Husband, a sister, two brothers, a grandson, and great granddaughter preceded her in death. Everyone who knew her will miss her. She is survived by her 9 children, Janice (Monte) Thomas, Richard (Valerie) Green, Cheryl (Dave) Mallet, Terry (Molly) Green, Diane (Larry) Pearce, Rodney (Jackie) Green, Sally (Merle) Larsen, Debra (Kent) Omer, Shelly (Collin) Seele, 39 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Services to be held at the LDS Church 415 West Apple, Grantsville, Utah. Viewing Monday Sept 10, from 6 to 8 pm, and from 10-11 am Tuesday September 11, funeral service to follow.
